She did it! 507 in the Squat. It happened on March 8, 2003 at the APF Maryland State Championships at Salisbury, MD. That also sets the NC State record too. Sadly, a bicep injury kept her from making any other new records that day. But there's always NEXT meet!

I am a member of the Lizard Lick Powerlifting Club. Members include Jason Hocutt (Former Collegiate All-American), Ron Shirley (Tough Man Competitor) and Brooks Ray (Just a Big Ole Country Boy).

I want to break all the APF Open World Records before I leave the Junior division and be remembered as one fo the best 148ers of all time. I also want to use the gift God gave me for lifting, and inspiring others and be a motivating factor in their lives - especially children.

JP MEMORIAL MEET PICS ARE UP!

The Johnny Perry Memorial "Battle of the Baddest" was a huge success! Over $3,000 was raised for the Perry family. They would like to express their appreciation for all the good folks that turned out for this event.
Look under "Johnny Perry" on the menu to find all the meet pics - JP would be proud! Be aware - you can click on any of the pics to get larger images for yourself - but they are BIG! (have at LEAST a 56K connection)
We'll be posting all the official results tomorrow for everyone to see. We'll also be posting some video we shot and it will be available for purchase if you'd like to have your own souvenir of the "Johnny Perry Memorial Battle of the Baddest"
The meet has been hailed as certainly ONE of the best - if not THE best - on the East Coast in memory. Some of the country's best powerlifters came to compete in this memorial meet. Records were set. Incredible feats were performed.
And throughout the whole meet, I think Johnny was looking down - just smiling!
Thank you one and all for coming together for this very special meet and to honor the man. JP - You'll live in all of our hearts forever. Thank you for being my friend - and being just "Ol' JP".
